Helion Bakelite Desk LampA very nice original Helion Bakelite desk lamp in good condition and newly rewired. We also include a vintage look Germany to USA plug adapter so the lamp can retain its German heritage and still plug into a normal American outlet. I cleaned this lamp up a bit and repainted the silver on the underside of the shade, as is was mostly worn off. The metal tube connecting the base and lamp has an even patina which I left alone as it gives the lamp

Packaging was 10/10. Came in a box, each grille and eyelid was wrapped individually. The grilles were wrapped in foam for protection. Looks pretty good. No immediately noticeable blemishes on my order. Although it doesn't feel as rigid as the OEM one (of course) One thing I noticed tho was there is a crack/break in one of the grilles but it's not noticeable when the hood is shut. Not sure how that will affect how long it will last but it still looks good. Overall a 9/10 just cause of that crack.
