New Testament Bible for German POWs 1942Original German POW New Testament and Psalms bible. This was given as a gift to German prisoners of war from Switzerland (this organization gave Bibles to both German POWs and American POWs). Dated 1942. There is a name penciled inside "Oskar Call____." In OK condition. There is some water damage and red color bleed, general staining and wear. I bought this in Germany, it is likely something a PW took back home with him.

High quality
Better quality than I expected. Easy to assemble.

Defective parts; impossible to assemble
Two of the metal rods were not made in the proper proportion (the metal button that pops up into a hole in another bar each connects to was off from where it is supposed to be located) and were literally impossible to connect to the other two bars that they are supposed to connect to. Hence impossible to assemble. A total waste of money. Possibly the worst quality control I have ever seen.

Bad holes
Poles 1 and 2 don't click together due to poorly drilled holes, the clicker and the predrilled holes don't line up, really should return, but it's for outside, may try to fix the holes with a drill
