I initially wondered if this would be worth the money. But, I have a puppy who eats everything - including kindles. She ate this one and, with the insurance, it was replaced with a new one. We call the 'puppy' (who is now a little over a year old) 'Jaws'. Hopefully, this third kindle won't go in her mouth. But, getting smarter, I bought a cover for it so that, if she puts her teeth on it, she'll just damage the cover.
