I've had several pepper grinders over the years, and none was as easy and smooth to use as this one. It fills easily, and it grinds evenly and smoothly with a gentle press of the button. I am glad there are two, just in case one does give out, I will have the other to use, as I am not interested in grinding salt. It runs so effortlessly that you have to be a little careful when picking it up that you do not accidentally engage the button before you want the pepper to come out. Poor Grind Mechanisms

I could not get the piece back in. Then, the entire grind assembly came out as I was cooking. This item did not even get daily use.
