My pack of 3 was sewn correctly and the sizing was consistent. The cotton is of so-so quality, but it's fine. The waistband is typical basic women's underwear elastic. As was mentioned in another review someplace, these can work as shorts around the house. No one would know if they don't see the waistband. There's a crotch piece sewn in, so in that way, they're not like shorts. It should help for attaching panty liners if needed.
