The only downside is the velcro closure is not that great compared to the rest of the shoe. The velcro becomes weak or not as sticky well before the shoe has run its course. I’m a big fan of Sauconys so I wanted to introduce my daughter to my love of sneakers. These are good shoes and they’ve held up well. They show a lot of dirt but they’re worn by a toddler so I guess that’s expected. They’re lightweight so my daughter can easily walk in them. My only complaint is the length of the Velcro fastener. We use thin socks and the fastener barely goes halfway across the shoe. It just looks odd to me. Otherwise, it’s a great shoe. I’ll definitely buy more.
