Great for Family Devo for Teens

I am a single mom of two teens and was looking for a creative way to "get a wise man speaking to my son." My 15-year old is an avid sports fan and normal rap-listening, sullen teenage boy. His teen sister and I have been reading this in the mornings all year before school at breakfast. It has been WONDERFUL and completely achieved my purpose. Although some of the devos are for sure written to men (marriage, etc.) I just skip those. The football examples are not so overwhelming, he'll use one maybe every few days which is just right. I would say his main takeaway - what I have been trying to teach in the wake of moral problems of other relatives - is that Character Matters. Our Integrity does matter. The Bible verses and stories are relevant, sometimes we look them up. Thank you so much, Tony, for being a much needed Godly "grandfather" to my kids this year!
