Advertisements REPORT THIS AD Nick is excited when he gets new roller skates, but he soon realizes that skating isn’t as easy as he thought. He’s about to give up when his dad talks to him about it. He gives Nick several examples of people, including his mom and his friend, who persevered and achieved their goals. It’s important to teach children that failure is part of life and that practice is important. This book does that well! Perseverance Makes me Stronger is told in rhymes and the illustrations are cute and colorful. It helps children to learn that failure is part of life, and we need to practice in order to achieve our goals.
