WWII USAAF AN-6550 Summer Flying Suit by Sigmund Eisner Co. (Size Medium 40)Description This is an original WWII U. S. Army Air Force AN 6550 summer flying suit. The AN 6550 became the most prevalent USAAF flying suit when it replaced the Type A 4 in early 1943. This example was manufactured by Sigmund Eisner Co. of Red Bank, New Jersey. It is constructed of olive drab gabardine wool material. It is a size medium 40 but please refer to the Measurements section for more details. Provenance Personal Collection of Chelius Carter

Pretty but flimsy

The size is great, and it held plenty of items, but the quality is lacking. I hadn’t even made it to my event before the clasp broke. I appreciated the color, and it is a nice looking clutch, but the hinge flipped open without the clasp to keep it in place. Would not recommend for the price.
