Colonial Kauri Bobbin-Leg Wine TableA small colonial wine table in New Zealand kauri, the circular top sitting above three bobbin turned legs that splay outward from a neatly collared central hub. Made in the Victorian tradition but firmly of this country, most likely from a workshop sometime in the second half of the 1800s. Condition: Overall good and stable. It's a well packaged item including a simple tool set and a clear instruction. I put it together just by myself in about 15-20 minutes without any problems. The base is solid pieces of metal, and it stands very sturdy. It's also light enough for me to move it around in my office to serve different purposes. I like the color and the quality of the fabric. It blends in with my office space perfectly. I needed it as a partition between my desk and the door, and the background for my video conference call. Surprisingly, it can also deflect the air coming down from the AC vent behind my desk. I didn't expect it to 100% soundproofing (not its purpose), but I feel it did absorb some humming sound from my mini fridge behind my desk. I would recommend this to my colleague.
