Repro 8cm Gr.W.34 Baseplate Carrying Pad (Economy)This is a very early handmade reproduction of the 8cm Gr. W. 34 mortar carrying pad. I made this many years ago when you couldn't even get decent photos of the pad. It works well and looks ok. It is mostly based on the early manual photo which I believe was actually a picture of an early prototype before they started producing special webbing just for these rigs. This is why the straps differ from the original pads that have recently come up for sale.

Looks like it would be warm and cozy. Looks good on the bed and is a decent cover. I can't speak to durability and so forth, was recently purchased and used. The price was about what I paid for my own micro mink sherpa comforter and the ones I own are thick and fluffy and super warm. This isn't the same quality, had I paid more attention, I'd have bought one like mine in the tan. Seems fair though so let's see.
