Cometic uses stainless steel for increased strength, its ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers of the gasket are embossed and coated on both sides with a Viton rubber material designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions and surface finishes. This product smells so nice and isn't sticky or tacky on the skin. I feel like it absorbed quite well. We used this in Vegas recently and I had a few soft red spots that went away a couple days later. Yes, we re-applied, but it is VERY bright in Vegas at the pool. This will probably become my go-to spray sunscreen. As my mobility can be limited, spray sunscreens have really helped me make sure I get all areas that are exposed to the sun.
