Eastern Red CedarRugged and aromatic, this hardy tree tolerates an incredible array of growing conditions dustbowl arid to moist and rainy. Starting as a conical bush, it grows into an upright evergreen. Mature trees are covered in an attractive reddish brown bark that peels and sheds. If you're a bird lover this is the tree for you. Its dense dark green foliage is ideal for nesting. Deer resistant. Growth Rate: 12 18 in. annually. Bareroot. Zones 2 9.
