It is simply clipped on the chain, shackle, or Anchor. They do not secure (hold tight) the Anchor in the bow roller. Lewmar recommends securing the anchor to the boat when not in use. I have chronic hives, being controlled by a once-a-month injection. I've always had itchy spots, and figured it was just the way I was.
