Crisply Carved Regency Period Mahogany SofaThe cresting rail carved with acanthus leaves to the ends and centred by an anthemion above an upholstered back and seat; the arms composed of anthemions, acanthus and lotus leaves; raised on lyre shaped legs. The carved ornament on this sofa is clearly inspired by George Smith's A Collection of Designs for Household furniture and Interior Decoration (1808) where he advises cabinet makers to 'compare, select and to arrange' motifs from antiquity.

I love these shelves! I specifically wanted shelves that were very long and that would, when put together, span the length of my room. These fit the bill! I have hade these shelves for several months now and they have successfully held ip a decent bit of weight, is a true black cooler with wood grain detail, and has not faded in color with dusted and whipped down to be cleaned. These are great quality and with the price!
