Thoroughly clean the threads, then apply thread locker to the insert and install it into the crank arm. Finally, thread the pedal into the insert. For the money, this is a great value, and if used properly, should last as long as your N55 engine....the construction material may cause it to distort, and may be difficult to separate from the filter assembly, but if this occurs, the cap was installed too tight or it's being installed too tightly...cranking on the plastic oil filter canister lid without disregard to propr torque value will result in needing a new filter canister lid and/or tool.....I'd buy this product and same mfg products....
