It takes cringe moments in the movie, and represents then better. The great Jedi Master Luke Skywalker is still portrayed as the pathetic, washed up, deadbeat hermit - but you begin feel sorry for him in this comic book presentation. A lot of it is narrated by Luke himself, and you feel his iner turmoil.
