It features added accoutrements and appointments such as a herringbone top inlay and multi stripe rosette, which is indicative of the features inside the instrument such as scalloped bracing. This specific guitar had a small crack on the top of the guitar, on the bass side of the upper bout right by the neck joint. The guitar was sent back to Martin and the crack was repaired in house by

Good finish, poor hardware.
Set screws are poor quality and are sometimes powdercoated on the exposed threads. Leads to striped hex sockets and inability to tighten properly.
Durable finish as evidenced by no visible damage after throwing parts across the shop in frustration.
Ended up running self tapping screws thru parts to complete assembly.
