It was manufactured by McCord Radiator & Manufacturing Co. of Detroit, Michigan and exhibits a lot number of "759A", approximately dating its production to late 1943. The helmet retains an original olive drab field repaint, cork texture, and OD#3 (khaki) chinstraps with steel hardware and a flat buckle. Painted in its interior is a white "A". Provenance Private
