The Rosewood fingerboard has very tight grain with light red to dark striping from the nut to the last fret. Gibson's 50's Rounded "C" neck profile lives up to the reference "Baseball Bat" neck. I am 6’4” weigh @ 230 lbs and ordered a 2XL. My dress shirt neck size is 17 inches. If you’re happy with a very loose fitting around your neck, then you’ll be ok with this mock turtleneck shirt. I ordered thinking it would be a snug fit around the neck size, not hanging down @ one inch or more in the front.
