Vietnam War U.S. M-1 Helmet Liner Leather Chinstrap with Black BuckleDescription This is an original Vietnam War U. S. M 1 helmet liner leather chinstrap. It features a black painted steel buckle and blackened brass D. O. T. rivets. D. O. T. was the successor to United Carr and their rivets are seen on chinstraps produced from 1945 until the P55 liner's replacement in the mid 1960s.
