Iris louisiana 'Heather Stream'Beautiful purple flowers with yellow emerging from the throat. As with all iris, the tubers are harmful if eaten. Most iris prefer acidic soils. After foliage has died back in Autumn cut back to just above the water surface. If trimming is left until spring take care not to damage emerging shoots. Although other reviews found this item was too lightweight and flimsy, frankly it was exactly what I was looking for. I needed to partition my workspace off from the rest of the room and I wanted something that I could easily attach to the back of an unfinished bookcase as part of creating a private space. It was perfect. Lightweight easy to handle and I didn't mind putting some nails through it. Great price point for what I needed.
