The Johanna Brandt is a single block Chenin, the lower part of the block which is on shale. It is the rounder, more powerful of the two Spioenkop Chenin Blanc wines, and has a slightly more tropical fruit profile (citrus zest, quince, elderberry, ripe fig, nuttiness and spices), still with nice acidity.
