We put these on without socks; the booties are not lined with fleece but has a firm sole. I got the 0-3 months size for my 3 month old and there’s still a little bit of room to grow. Easy to put on baby’s wiggling feet and there are two snap buttons to select for fit. There’s really no grip on these so not sure how they hold up for walking. The fleece is plush and seems to keep baby’s feet warm.
