I tried these because the reviewer's pictures look like these would work. I will assume the integrity of the reviewer and their word that the grills in the pictures are legitimately this brand grills. Which means something terrible happened to the manufactures molds from the time the reviewer got theirs to the time I received mine. I ordered the correct ones for my pre-facelift model and the quality looked promising however the top edge was inset about a 1/4 inch from the OEM one and they wiggled around to the point that there was NO CHANCE of them staying in on the way out of my garage. Don't waste your time and money. Just spend the extra $50 to get the ones from bimmerworld.

For anyone that has owned an E46 knows that even the stock kidney grills are brittle plastic. This aftermarket is about the same quality as stock. It is a direct fit and has the clips where they are supposed to be to keep them in place. The look is also pretty nice. This one is all black and actually looks nice on my black E46.
